Meet JOVETH, a relentless artist whose music transforms life's struggles into soulful, powerful performances. From his roots in the Philippines and Sweden to the vibrant underground music scenes of California, Joveth’s journey is a testament to resilience and artistic evolution.

Beginning his music career at 12, Joveth relocated to the US alone before turning 20, driven by a newfound passion ignited by a James Blunt concert. Originally aspiring to a career in visual arts, he shifted focus to music, refining his skills in production and performance. His sound, influenced by Jon Bellion, Drake, Post Malone, Michael Jackson, and The Weeknd, is a blend of R&B, pop, EDM, rock, and soul, reflecting his personal growth and emotional depth.

Joveth's new EP, “Lonely Boy,” on Voracious Records, showcases his evolution as an artist. His music invites listeners to confront their emotions and find solace in his lyrics and production. His performances, whether in intimate clubs or on expansive stages, are immersive experiences that blend raw energy with intricate sound and lighting design. “The effects and atmospherics I create are what I hear and see in my head, and I’m thrilled to bring that vision to life through my music,” he says.

In 2022, Toto’s David Paich recognized Joveth's potential and contributed to his early songs. Collaborations with Biby Bourelley and extensive performances in Southern California further highlight his dedication. As a perfectionist, Joveth feels that his time has finally come. “The work, sweat, and tears I’ve invested have brought me to where I am today, both personally and musically,” he reflects.

“We saw the raw energy and potential of Joveth on social media, and were following him with interest. A friend of many years, the head of Santa Barbara Sound Design, Dom Camardella, mentioned over dinner that he had an artist he was working with whom he felt was worthy of label support. He urged us to stop by that night for a visit, and to our surprise and good fortune, there was Joveth – whom Dom was mentoring. It was the kind of coincidence that felt more like fate. Over the course of the next several months a strategy for launch was developed. What we didn’t know at the time was just how special Joveth is – as a creator, as a survivor, most but importantly, as a human being with immense drive and integrity. As an artist, he checks all the boxes a label could possibly want. We’re honored to know him.”

Jim and Perry have been wonderful to work with. I got lucky enough to be a part of their vision and signed a deal with them. Such a professional team and I’m beyond grateful for their support and commitment to their artists. Working with Voracious Records has just been a great experience! They’re so dedicated to the art and productivity in the artist development that I’m sure excited to see where this collaboration will take us.
